May 25th, etc

My surgery is scheduled for May 25th! It got finalized about two weeks ago. It's a couple weeks later than I had hoped due to the doctors' calendar, but I'm glad it is still in May. I had hoped to have it towards the beginning of May so I would have more recovery time. As it stands, I'll have 2-3 weeks less. It should be okay. I just would really like to start school on time in August.

In other news. The drama club play at school went great last week! The kids were amazing, and everything came together perfectly. I have never been more proud to be a part of a faculty - so many people stepped up and helped. When I think about it, even a week later, I am still in awe over how well everything just clicked at the right time.
